FAQs

The EVAL Program serves customers considering an upgrade investment of about $25,000. Please contact your sales representative for more information on qualifications.

To get started, complete the Evaluation and Qualification Testing Agreement (including Appendix A) (“Agreement”) and send it to your sales representative.

The EVAL Program offers only refurbished Ricoh document scanners from our inventory of fi Series and SP Series scanners. Speak with your sales representative about our current available inventory.

Yes. You will receive the Ricoh document scanner, at no cost, (ground shipping only from CA) directly to your organization. Included in the box is a shipping RMA (Return Materials Authorization), to send the unit back at any point.

You will not be charged for 30 days, which typically starts the date of the delivery. After the Evaluation Period, you have the option to send back the scanner to purchase a new one, or send the test unit back.

Due to the size of the program, we do have to ensure test units are returned. We also ask that participants pay for the return shipping.

Participants will be charged for the market value price at the time of testing for the unit, if it is not received within 35 days of the original shipping date in your RMA.

Make sure to keep the original container, freight collect, and RMA (Return Materials Authorization) label, to ship back the unit. You may incur charges if you do not have the original packaging and RMA. Locate the RMA label in the original container, or contact your sales representative for an RMA to ship the unit back
