PFU America, Inc.
PFU America, Inc., the U.S.-based subsidiary of PFU Limited and the leader in document scanning solutions, today announced the ScanSnap® iX1600 Receipt Edition document imaging scanner featuring integration with Intuit® QuickBooks® Online. The new scanner provides small businesses, accountants, tax preparers, law offices, among others, with the ability to easily upload invoices and receipts with one-touch scanning.
In addition to new Receipt Edition features, the robust ScanSnap iX1600 allows for PC-less scanning to any destination, including mobile devices, folders, or popular applications such as Google Drive®, Dropbox®, Evernote®, and more. Scanned paperwork can also be sent to ScanSnap Home, an all-in-one solution that allows users to easily manage, edit, and utilize scanned data from receipts, documents, business cards, photos, and more. The new and exclusive Receipt Edition features provide home and office professionals new automated tools that analyze receipts and invoices, pull out the important information contained within them, and pass it over to an existing QuickBooks Online account, allowing users a convenient way to convert paper bills into actionable accounting data for improved accuracy and efficiency in bookkeeping.
“This new addition to the industry leading ScanSnap line is a game changer for home professionals and small businesses,” said Daisuke Kutsuwada, President and CEO, PFU America, Inc. “Not only is set up simple with all the normal features ScanSnap offers, but the ability to scan receipts and invoices and send the data they contain into an existing QuickBooks Online account will make ScanSnap Receipt Edition indispensable for any small business that aims to be more efficient, productive, and organized.”
Equipped with a 4.3” LCD touch screen, ScanSnap iX1600 Receipt Edition digitizes and organizes documents and receipts for better workflows, turning information into widely accessible, actionable digital assets. Scanned documents—and specific data on them—are also searchable and can be converted to Microsoft Word for editing or repurposing. ScanSnap iX1600 Receipt Edition preserves the quality of raw images, and once scanned, documents can be corrected and renamed.
Priced starting at $599.00 MSRP, ScanSnap iX1600 Receipt Edition is available in the U.S. now. PFU America, Inc. expects to support QuickBooks Desktop in the near future through an online software update.
