Each rental office scans and uploads documents directly into Yardi Breeze, the property management software that powers Pennell’s operations. Tenants also rely on the Yardie portal to view their documents and access self service tasks—so fast, accurate uploads are essential for a smooth resident experience.

The Pain of Slow MFDs

For years, Pennell Investment Properties relied on traditional multifunction devices (MFDs). And while they could technically scan, the experience left much to be desired.

Staff frequently waited for machines to warm up, restart, or clear paper jams. Multi‑page scanning jobs often stalled, misfed, or saved incorrectly. After several years of success with the iX1600, Pennell Investment Properties recently upgraded all scanning stations to the ScanSnap iX2500 at headquarters and across rental offices.
